Leasing
When you progress to the point of wanting to ride more often and on your own, horses are available for full or half lease. This is often a good first step before making the commitment involved in owning a horse. Brookwood Stables has several excellent horses available for a full or half lease. Customized lease agreements can also be arranged to suit your personal needs.
Full lease rates are $350 per month, which does not include routine farrier care. Riding times and days are not restricted, and lessee is permitted access to the horse for special events such as horse shows and off-property riding. Lessons are not included.
Half-lease rates are $225/month, and lessee may ride up to 4 times per week, with a maximum of 1.5 hours per ride. Brookwood Stables covers farrier/vet expenses. Lessee is restricted to staying on Brookwood property. Lessons are not included.
