Horseback riding is wonderful exercise, but can also be a great opportunity for students to learn empathy, set and achieve goals, and grow in confidence. Confidence, respect and responsibility are all integral parts of our instructional program.

Our lesson program specializes in the beginner through intermediate rider, and we welcome students ages 7 and up. One of the most important and valuable aspects of this sport is acquiring basic knowledge in horses and horsemanship, which includes equine behavior and handling. All riders at Brookwood Stables learn the basics of before and after riding care of the horses and ponies. Our goal is to help all riders learn to become self-sufficient. Your safety is our focus and priority.

Private lesson $60/hour ($30 for ½ hour)
Semi-private lesson $45/hour
